Submitter's name: Tim Clark
Title: Meep Meep--comin' through
Gear used: OM-1n + 100/2.8 + T32 flash + TTL Auto Cord T 5m + Tiltall tripod
Diaphragm: F16
Shutter speed: 1/30
Film used: Kodak Plus-X
Technical information: Sprinted into position as self-time buzzed, avoiding tripping on flash cord. "Studio" consisted of a backdrop of fuzzy fabric and a light stand in the basement with the bike in a wind trainer. Processed with D-76, Dektol and Kodak RC Polycontrast paper.
Subject information: Aboard my lovely Waterford custom bike, fully Campagnolo equipped. The 'stache waxed for the occasion, to my 6 year old's delight.

Comment left by: Olaf Greve (ogreve@web-wizards.com) Nice composition, and a nice "action" shot!
Maybe an interesting addition would have been if you would have moved your legs up and down, such that a feeling of motion occurs (the front wheel will then still be suspended though).
Nice shot, nonetheless!

Comment left by: Ron Spolarich (caesar2@mediaone.net) Terrific image Tim! Great idea using the wind trainer to capture you doing what looks to be like something you really enjoy - cycling!

Comment left by: Gary Edwards (garyetx@home.com) Great shot and most excellent 'stache. Gave up on making mine like that...

Comment left by: Barry Bean (bbbean@beancotton.com) Nice shot - Great moustache. I looked at the shot and thought "I know that guy." Good work.

Comment left by: Giles (cnocbui@indigo.ie) A really great image. With a stare like that I'll bet you could make an 18 wheeler pull over ;-)

Comment left by: Ken Norton (image66@attglobal.net) Well, I'll forgive you for the Campy rig, but no helmet? Hmm. I've got to get my real wheel fixed so I can ride my road racer again. Moustaches make great bug filters.

Comment left by: Alasdair Mackintosh (Alasdair.Mackintosh@eu.citrix.com) Excellent and eye-catching shot. Well done.

Comment left by: Jay Maynard (jmaynard@conmicro.cx) Another picture like mine - designed to convey not only the person but the interest, too. Wish I could get my mustache to do that.

Comment left by: Carlos Santisteban (cjss@supercable.es) Great shot. Nice lighting. And great moustache, too ;-)
