Technical information: Used the self-timer - only tripped once to get in position
Subject information: A beautiful day up on the top of Schafer Peak near Lake Pend Oreille in nothern Idaho. Spent most of the afternoon (and about 6 rolls of film) making panoramics. This was a site of a lookout tower, you can see the footings in front and back of me.

The perspective in the picture is just right to show the vista very well.

Comment left by: Andy Beals (bandy@cinnamon.com) You could title this "Paul Bunyan", just get yourself a big axe and a blue ox.

Switching to a telephoto would help to flatten out the depth and further the Paul Bunyan effect.

A very nice shot, none the less!
