Technical information:	The 50mm gave the best view from our seats on the Metro subway. The camera was in manual mode, as I recall.
Subject information:	The shot was taken on the way home from an outing with my wife, who can just barely be seen to the left in the picture. When a person with a dark coat leaned up against the plexiglas divider in the Metro car, I noticed that I could see my reflection and decided to take advantage of the opportunity to maybe get a decent self portrait.
