Technical information: Print made on Agfa MCP 310 and scanned on a Canon CanoScan N1220U. Sharpened in Photoshop.
Subject information: Artist struggling with self portrait at kitchen table. The resulting close-up portrait made with the OM-1N + Auto bellows + 50/1.8 (MiJ) + flimsy tripod wasn't really fit for publishing! :)

I can hardly believe this was taken with an 18mm! Amazing perspective control!

Comment left by: Peter Leyssens (leyssens@yahoo.com) As Olaf already mentioned, it's hard to believe this was taken with an 18mm. There's just a few details that point in that direction (funny position of the lamp, long back of the head, the frames on the wall left & right don't match perspective, or the left one needs a bit of adjusting). Just goes to show that the "fixed ideas" of lens choice are limiting. Great freeing of your mind & a funny picture !

Is that lamp at that odd angle *just* due to distortion, or is it actually swaying (I like the idea of the latter, even if it isn't)? Regardless, it's an amusing and delightful shot.
