I don't quite understand how you got RGB colours spread out over your daughter's face and sunglasses (combination of 80A + photoflood, I guess, but how???), but it does look nice.

Comment left by: Giles (cnocbui@indigo.ie) A nice isea but it is a wee dark as you said

Comment left by: Ron Spolarich (caesar2@mediaone.net) Out of sight! (No pun intended!) This is a terrific shot! I presume just a little photo manipulation. Nice effect!

Comment left by: Steve Goss (steveg3@flash.net) How did you get the wild colors on your daughter's face without changing the colors on yours?

Comment left by: Siddiq (siddim01@student.ucr.edu) I get the idea "Dr. Harridge" is coming up to a patient and saying "open up, say "aaa"".

Comment left by: John A. Lind (jlind@netusa1.net) Yet another very imaginative one and the abstract framing grabs attention immediately. Silvered lenses would likely provide a lighter image of you, but this still works well: tells some of the story but leaves the rest a bit of a mystery. This had to be tricky to get her, you and the camera all positioned accurately! Glad she "volunteered" for the task.

Comment left by: Wayne Harridge (wayne.harridge@compaq.com) 80A filter corrects photoflood for daylight film.
The "wild" colours are created by the "solarize" feature of Paintshop Pro. This feature allows you to set a threshold value for solarization. Because the part of the image with me in it is fairly dark, and the threshold is set fairly high, only the brighter parts of the image are noticably solarized.

Whew! I originally thought that your daughter had come down with a bad case of stripes. (Those of you who read books to 6-year olds may get the reference...)
