Technical information:	Some of the rocks on the bottom of the picture were cropped.
Subject information:	The Spouting Horn blowhole on the coast of Kaua'i, Hawai'i. According to the guidebook, there was a much larger blowhole just to the left of this one, which would shoot water 200 feet into the air. The sea spray was stunting the growth of a tiny fraction of a sugar cane plantation's crop, so in the 1920's they blew it up. Anyway, this wasn't the most spectacular plume we saw, but I like the similarites between the water spray and the clouds.

So many examples of water in one shot: ocean, foam, clouds and spout! They all seem to relate with one another. Very nice.

Why the 21?

The viewpoint was rather close to the spout, and to get anything else in the frame a wide angle was needed. As the 28 seemed a bit tight, with some sprays close to going out of the frame, my only other option was the 21. I also have some other shots from a different perspective taken with the 300, but I didn't like them as well.
