Comment left by: Olaf Greve (no e-mail specified) I love the way the water is displayed.

Comment left by: Frank van LIndert (Frank.van@Lindert.com) Nice Pic. But did you really use a hybrid film/digital camera?

Comment left by: Mickey Trageser (no e-mail specified) The selective focus really works here. You selling Disani? I love film too, but really don't know how I'd get it to work with the digital camera.... Perhaps your description is 'all wet'? ;-)

Comment left by: The Photographer (no e-mail specified) This is a purely digital shot as the D-460 is not a hybrid camera. The "Film Type" description is, I suspect, a result of my cutting and pasting the format for submissions and forgetting to delete that part :) No film here. Also I was wondering how long it would take for someone to ask if I am affiliated with Dasani in any way -- no I am not :)

Comment left by: Pawel Golik (no e-mail specified) Nicely captured water flow, I'd prefer it without the bottle in the background, just the flow on an uniform background.

Comment left by: Joz (jozielee@hawaiicity.com) Dansani is cool!!

Comment left by: benson (benson@research.haifa.ac.il) I like the water too!

Comment left by: Marc Lawrence (mlawrence@cfp.com.au) That water looks like the latest hightech digital-reality effect from LucasArts (and I mean this is a *good* way ;-) ). I concede I'd probably prefer it without the bottle in the background (maybe a large glass tumbler?), but this may be because I've never heard of "Dasani" (sp?), and so don't see the connection as well (I presume it's like Evian?). I'll go all Dudespeak and say "Freeeaaaaky, duuuuuuuude!" :-) Like it a lot.

Comment left by: bbbean (bbbean@beancotton.com) Love the water and the colors. Reminds me of the old subliminal advertising controversy - where's the shark and the naked woman?

Personally, I think I might have turned the bottle around so the piece wasn't an ad, but then again, I've never understood people who pay that kind of money for what amounts to tap water from somewhere else.

Comment left by: Alasdair Mackintosh (Alasdair.Mackintosh@ntlworld.com ) Great effect. I can partially agree with some of the other comments about the background, but on the other hand the distorted blue label that's visible within the stream of water really adds to the effect. I'm not sure if this is the overall best in this gallery, but it's certainly one of the best photographs of water itself.

Comment left by: Kelly A. (no e-mail specified) In contrast to a few individuals making comments, I think that having the Dasani bottle in view is excellent. Pouring bottled water down the sink is rather a propos for a company that pretty much sells Calgary tap water anyway. ;)
