Sunrise over the Starnberger see

Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Eric Pederson
Title: Sunrise over the Starnberger see
Gear used: OM-4Ti + 50/3.5 + tripod. No filters
Diaphragm: f16 (prefired)
Shutter speed: 1/30 (Indicated)
Film used: Kodak Portra 160NC
Technical information: Autoexposure, which I don't usually use but pretty useful for sunrises. I used prefire as well. Scanned from print, with sharpening in photoshop and no color or contrast adjustment.
Subject information: One of the Bavarian lakes south of Munich. I was at the local "Schloss" for a conference, jet-lagged, and out for photography at sunrise (circa 5 AM). This was a view from the grounds. Alps in the other direction, but too much haze...

Comment left by: bbbean (bbbean@beancotton.com) Nice colors, great sense of mood. I think I'd crop some of the bottom to bring the ducks down to the bottom 1/3 line or below.
