Submitter's name: Juan Carlos Pachon
Title: Agua - Triptico
Gear used: Olympus OM-2(n) - Zuiko 50/1.8 - Neutral density filtes B+W KR 1.5
Film: Fuji Neopan SS - ISO 100 - EI 64
Aperture: 1.8
Shuter speed: 1/125
Subject information: This time I wanted to do something more artistic. The film was a Fuji Black and White developed in D76, but the final copy was obtained by a Konica Mini Lab on color paper by my friend Nelson, We use the dicroic filters like a sepia toner. Like always sorry for the scan quality and my poor English.

Artistic indeed!

Comment left by: bbbean (bbbean@beancotton.com) Very interesting - I'd love to see this larger, and to better understand what I'm seeing.

Comment left by: Marc Lawrence (mlawrence@cfp.com.au) Nicely done. I like the triptych idea. I'd actually prefer the centre picture to be in the same orientation as the others I think (though you may already have done so and decided against it). I'm so use to seeing the blur *behind* the subject, that this really stands out (in a good way) for me, like a crack into another more "real" dimension (I'll stop now, 'cause I'm starting to sound all Trekkie, aren't I? ).

Comment left by: Brian Swale (bj@caverock.net.nz) Aha! I think I see it. Water in a fountain as seen through a gap in sculpture or a gap in flowers adjoining. And the seemingly very small head and body of a figure alongside and to the left of the pouring water.

The central panel of the tryptich is upside-down.

Interesting, certainly different, and well done.

Comment left by: Chris Barker (imagopus@threeshoes.co.uk) A clever idea to get more than one shot in the TOPE and I like the artistic statement of a triptych. It does almost tell a story.
