Comment left by: Alasdair Mackintosh (Alasdair.Mackintosh@ntlworld.com) Perfectly timed, and beautifully composed. The bright splashes against the dark hair are particularly effective.

I'm wondering if a very slightly lighter background might help the figure to stand out more strongly? Hard to say...

Comment left by: Olaf Greve (no e-mail specified) A fantastic shot!

You captured exactly the right moment, as the "chill" from the cold(?) water impact can readily be seen on her face (though her wet shoulders suggest this was not the first puring she received ;) ).

Also, I love the lighting, that strong lighting from the left works really well, what did you use for that?

Comment left by: Adam Bolt (boldbolty@iprimus.com.au) The shots just keep getting better and for me this is the best. Sent a chill down my back from her expression and the look of "Damn that water's cold!!" Also I think lovely is an understatement... she is stunning. Even then having a pretty girl in front of the lens does not automatically mean that it will be a great shot... you have an excellent pose, great lighting and captured the moment.
Cheers Adam

Comment left by: The photographer (n/a) Thank you, you're all very kind.

The strong lighting from the left is natural light about an hour before sunset.

Comment left by: Dave Dougherty (davdou@san.rr.com) Truely Lovely. Wonderful lighting.

Comment left by: Winsor (no e-mail specified) Wow. What a great photograph. This one has prize winner written all over it. Enter it somewhere.

Comment left by: Pachon (jcpachon@tutopia.com) This picture is completely perfect, and say so noble are the Tri-X

Comment left by: Joel Wilcox (no e-mail specified) Just looks like so much fun, in all aspects of making the photo. What it's all about.

Comment left by: benson (benson@research.haifa.ac.il) Captures both the moment and the spirt. Nice.

Comment left by: Alasdair.Mackintosh (Alasdair.Mackintosh@ntlworld.com) Having looked at this on a different (and slightly lighter) monitor, my orignal comment about the darkness of the background may not have been valid. It's always hard to tell what a picture *really* looks like when you're viewing it on the web.

Comment left by: Chris Barker (imagopus@threeshoes.co.uk) Very sexy! I like the composition and the inventiveness of the photographer.

Comment left by: Walt Wayman (no e-mail specified) This is the pick of the litter so far. Good idea and a 9+ subject/model/victim, depending on how you look at it.

Comment left by: bbbean (bbbean@beancotton.com) Since the anonymity period is over, I'll leave a link to the "runner up" shots for this tope: The Tear , Lilly Pad, and Hickman Ferry Road.

Comment left by: bbbean (no e-mail specified) Correct Link for Hickman Ferry Road

Comment left by: Chan Souvannarath (csouvannarath@yahoo.com) Great shot, great lighting, strong directional at low angle added punch to the picture.
