Subject Matter:	I'm a lucky guy since this is in my backyard (I may not say that after the next hurricane). I could watch the salt marsh vistas for hours. It's especially pretty at sunset (but then, isn't everything?).

Nice colors! It might be interesting to play with cropping the tree on the left out to bring more attention to the Spanish moss and the marsh.

Very serene. Where is this? It looks just like Africa - I would have guessed the Zambezi river. Since I don't think we have any listmembers from Africa, I guess it's somwhere in the 'ol south...

Nice. Wish I was there. I think it could be a lot of places in the US from the Texas gulf coast on around Florida and on up to Charleston.

Thanks for the kind comments. It is indeed in the SE US and Chuck you are right on the money...I live in Charleston. My only comment is that this image sure looks a lot better as a transparency. It has a lovely glowing quality that was lost during the scan.
