Flood Tide

Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Mike Lazzari
Title: Flood Tide
Gear used: OM-4Ti and either a 135/4 macro on the telescoping tube or the 85-250/5. I used both and don't remember which was used for this shot.
Diaphragm: Probably f5.6 or f8
Shutter speed: 1/125 at least, trying for maybe 1/250 or 1/500
Film used: Fuji Superia 200 ASA.
Technical information: Trick was to keep the dog occupied so she didn't muddy up the water and also not go in over my boots.
Subject information: The tide in this bay sometimes goes out 1 km. or more. This was taken on the incoming tide which carries in lots of interesting stuff. Low angle evening sun for shadows.

Comment left by: bbbean (bbbean@beancotton.com) Nice work! I particularly like the tiny spot where the stem touches the surface.
