that's either a very large nest (never seen that type before) or the 180 can focus pretty close.

This is one I'd want that 1000 f11 for. Wouldn't want to be anywhere near those nasty critters !! Great shot though. Particularly like the way the surface texture of the nest has come out. Almost like tortoise-shell.

I had thought about stretching the limits of the "architecture" theme, but certainly would not have pulled it off as brilliantly as you have. These are beautiful structures (especially when cold outside). Just for kicks, how about some shots of the inside after the tempuratures drop?
