Submitter's name: Eric Boyce
Title: Mirror Image
Gear used: OM-2SP+ 70 mm - 210 mm zoom hand held, No filters what so ever
Diaphragm & Shutter speed: Full auto
Film used: Velvia 50 ASA.
Technical information: I zoomed in a little (around 100 mm) to get a tight crop. I think I got away with hand holding at 50 asa ok as it was such a bright day :)
Subject information: On the way back to London from a camera shop, I spotted an office block on a bright sunny day and started to photograph it. This was my first attempt with slide film.

Comment left by: siddiq (no e-mail specified) i cannot figure out just what is going on, it's a mind boggler fer sure! different parts of the picture are giving contrasting visual cues as to whether i'm looking at a reflection or the actual building which looks like a reflection or what. a real treat, trying to make things work out. more coffee i think. great photo!

Comment left by: siddiq (no e-mail specified) oh, and excellent results for a first shot at slide (velvia no less)

Comment left by: bbbean (bbbean@beancotton.com) Love those Velvia colors, and a nice composition.

A question: is the horizon slightly off level, or is that just a trick from the uneven hedge?

Comment left by: Chuck Norcutt (chucknorcutt@attbi.com) Wow! What will you do for your second attempt?

Comment left by: Ira (ikahn@ad-120.co.il) You just dreamed this up, but how did you get on film?
More perplexed about how did you meter it.

Comment left by: Jim Brokaw (jbrokaw@pacbell.net) My first thought was "People who live in glass houses..." I trust there aren't any loose stones about. Great image, almost a 'fun-house of mirrors' look about it.

Comment left by: Brian Swale (bj@caverock.net.nz) Great colours and a puzzler to interpret. Sharp as well.
The cloud reflections really add a lot by breaking up the monotone of blue, and the green of the hedge adds a nice foil to all that blue.

All in all a great photo - one to be proud of.
