The Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw was a gift from Stalin to Poland. It's a replica of seven similar buildings which grace the Moscow skyline. The view from the observation deck is said by Poles to be the best view of Warsaw as it's the only one which excludes the Palace. I disagree! I think it's a magnificent structure.

excellent! is it just me or are the walls soft in the picture? not stopped down enough?

I think I would have cropped off the bottom 1/3 - 1/2 to focus attention on the top of the building and the great blue sky.

I agree, it has more drama with the bottom third cropped out.
