Comment left by: bbbean (bbbean@beancotton.com) Great shot! I love the off-center framing, the use of one bridge to frame another, the range of different styles in the picture, etc.

Comment left by: Ian Nichols (i.a.nichols@bris.ac.uk) Nice shot. Wise choice of fast film to remove the risk of blurring through camera motion (apologies to non-UK list members who might not get the joke there).

I particularly like the way it encompasses 3 different bridge architectures in a cascading composition.

Comment left by: Andreas Grunwald (no e-mail specified) nice shot!

Comment left by: Chuck Norcutt (chucknorcutt@attbi.com) A great composition. There's a lot going on here such that you have to study it a bit.

Comment left by: John A. Lind (no e-mail specified) Very interesting and unique concept using the structure of one bridge to frame the view of two more; all three with different architectures.

I don't know if this was possible, but would be tempted to lean out a little more to get the I-Beam on the right more toward the frame edge, and do the same with the diagonal brace on the left. The structures on the upper right are a slight distraction. Some cropping can also very easily accomplish the same thing.

The choice of B&W, and its gray-scale along with the washed-out sky tones give it a timeless feeling.

Comment left by: Chris (no e-mail specified) Good idea about the composition John. Thanks all.
