A Window’s Time

Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Benson Honig
Title: A Window’s Time
Gear used: OM-4 + 135/2.8 Zuiko + Gitzo tripod
Diaphragm: F8
Shutter speed: 1/60
Film used: Agfa Vista 100 ASA.
Technical information: A rainly windy fall day, the drizzle stopped just long enough to get this shot. I would have liked to get closer, but it was on the second or third story, so I took out the 135.
Subject information: A couple of blocks from the main train station in Brussels, I found this building being renovated. I was amazed by the layers of history around this simple window – it seemed to tell many stories.

The "upwards perspective" looks slightly disturbing, but I guess you could not get to a point where you would get a more level view of this window, and therefore I suppose you had no other option than to shoot it from the street.
Still a fine shot!
