Submitter's name: CyberSimian
Title: Andrew
Gear used: OM2 + 75-150mm f4 Zuiko zoom; Canon FS4000 scanner
Exposure: Centered-weighted TTL auto (details not recorded)
Film used: Ilford HP5 pushed to 800ASA, developed in Ilford Microphen
Technical information: The picture was taken handheld, using available light indoors, with the lens that I happened to have with me at the time (the 75-150mm f4 Zuiko zoom). Close examination shows that there is nothing in the picture that is truly sharp. This is likely due to one or more of the following factors: (1) lens used wide open (least sharp), (2) insufficient depth of field, caused by wide-open lens with zoom on moderate tele setting, (3) focussing slightly in error (candid picture-taking meant constant refocussing was necessary), (4) shutter speed too slow for handheld photography, resulting in slight camera shake.
Subject information: My nephew Andrew, age 2.5 years.

Comment left by: Garry D. Lewis (erind@sbcglobal.net) Well, if you ecer figure it out, unsharpness, you'll have a great replacement technique for a soft focus lense. I don't think it's really THAT unsharp. Besides with this kind of subject, you can get by with it. }:^)>

Comment left by: John Wheeler (wheelej@optusnet.com.au) Well, maybe some of those factors you mentioned have been involved but have led to one fabulous picture. Congratulations!
