So THAT's what it is. I stared at those negs and prints and couldn't figure it out. I figured ice crystals, snow pellets or something. Good scan.

I scanned the print with a Microtek ScanMaker 4850. Unadjusted, unretouched. Looked just right compared to the print, which I really like.
