Erantis

Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Klaus Elmquist Nielsen
Title: Erantis
Gear used: OM-3Ti + 90/2 macro
Exposure: Not recorded
Film used: Agfa Scala
Technical information: Scanned on a Nikon LS-40 at full resolution. PhotoShop 5.0 LE was used to remove dust, crop and resize the image.

This image is from my first roll of Agfa Scala film. For this roll of film I used various combinations of a yellow filter, a green filter and a tripod. However, I did not record the exposure and the use of filtering and tripod for each photo. Ironically, this image is likely a handheld shot taken without filter.

Subject information: A spring flower from our local botanic garden. There are several variants of this flower and this is one of the nicest. In it's real life the white parts are yellow and the darker parts are green.

Comment left by: poo (no e-mail specified) Yes, a truly beautiful picture. Good as the others on your site are, this is really my favourite, so good choice too! I especially love the tonality which gives the "creamy look" Kam likes. Maybe it's time for me to try Scala too? :)
