Interesting photo. "Prince of Wales" tea toning gives the subject an aged look that works extremely well for this photo.

Interesting subject - the sort of shot that I like to find, and very rarely do. Your scan is showing colours, so perhaps you could improve things by changing to Greyscale mode.

The color provided by the "one hour" lab looked better than the greyscale correction. The thumb print looks better than this.

What a shot ! I find it vaguely menacing; first one, then a solid line of four people steadily advancing to the viewer; black coming out of the bright light into the shelter of the shade. I would have liked to see more detail in the black foliage on the left, but given the circumstances it is understandable that could not be done.
