Greens and whites

Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Olaf Greve
Title: Greens and whites
Gear used: OM-4Ti + Zuiko 24mm F2
Diaphragm: Unrecorded, but around f8 or f11
Shutter speed: Unrecorded, but around 1/125th or 1/250th.
A -1/3rd exposure compensation was applied for additional colour saturation.
Film used: Fuji Provia 400F (RHP III)
Technical information: Nothing of interest (other than the intentional slight underexposure for enhanced colour saturation).
Subject information: These are some plants that we encountered on a trip we made a few weeks ago. I liked the way the "density" of these plants packed together formed this nice pattern of greens and whites.

Comment left by: Steve Goss (no e-mail specified) Not sure I see a pattern, but there's lots of texture.
What kind of plant is this?

Comment left by: Roy Talbot (roytalbot@hotmail.com) The plants look like Hosta's to me. I love to take pictures of plants and flowers in my wife's Victorian garden but I havn't thought of Hosta's. Nice texture with everything pointy and smoth.
