Technical information:	Handheld kneeling with elbows braced. Scanned with HP PhotoSmart, full frame, no cropping. (wish I had positioned the shell more off center of the frame) Minor color correction using Elements2 as the seaweed color fools the software, a couple dust specks cloned out and sharpened just a bit.
Subject information:	Same place I used for the water TOPE only on this day the tide was out, no water. A km or more of tide flats to explore and lots of patterns and textures to choose from. I went in the early evening for the longer shadows. The main hazard as usual was the dog shaking off too near the camera :>)

Funny, the sea-weed looks like alien hands groping at the shell. :)

And the sea-weed in the lower left corner looks like a green tide flowing in. What a weird alien place this could be.
