Comment left by: Olaf Greve (no e-mail specified) I don't know what the non-Photoshopped version looks like, but the end result is very nice at least!

Comment left by: Brian Swale (bj@caverock.net.nz) Very clever idea and well carried out. I like the result. Brian

Comment left by: Anonymous Visitor Washington Monument? Looks like the Jefferson Memorial to me. Anyway, a nice shot.

Comment left by: the photographer (no e-mail specified) I should have titled it "A Washington Monument" or "Monument, Washington, DC" etc. I was trying to convey by the title that this is just one monument in Washington. I hate coming up with titles!

Comment left by: Steve Goss (no e-mail specified) Or is it the Lincoln Memorial?

Nice work. Both analog and digital.

Comment left by: Walt (no e-mail specified) No, it's the Jefferson Memorial, which is round and made of sandstone. The Lincoln memorial is rectangular and made of marble.

Comment left by: Lama (no e-mail specified) Nicely done. I wondered how you managed the contrast so well. To my eye, there are no artifacts of the retouching which brings me back to "nicely done".

Comment left by: Wayne Shumaker (om4t) nice, well thought out, which is what we need to do sometimes.
