Subject information: These are the old sandstone columns from the U.S. Capitol, erected in the National Arboretum in Washington, D.C., after they were replaced with marble colums during the remodeling of the building.

Comment left by: Olaf Greve (no e-mail specified) Wicked perspective exaggeration. Personally, I would have liked the picture a bit better without the person and their attributes. I think without those a more timeless, abstract, image would have been the result. Still a nice shot!

Comment left by: Steve Goss (no e-mail specified) Nice columns, and nicely vertical. To partially disagree with Olaf, I think the person could stay, but that other stuff does clutter up the picture.

Comment left by: Walt (no e-mail specified) Removing the clutter, but keeping the figure and getting the top of the left column in the frame, would make this a great photograph. Too bad we don't have control over everything we shoot. Still, well done.
