The Big Wheel

Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Roger Wesson
Title: The Big Wheel
Gear used: OM-1n + Tokina 28/2.8 + polariser + red filter
Film: Ilford XP-2
Subject information: The Millenium Wheel is the biggest Ferris wheel in the world, and London's fourth highest structure.  On a clear day the views from the top are quite amazing; on a cloudy day, taking photos from the bottom is probably more rewarding.

Comment left by: siddiq (no e-mail specified) wow, what time did you shoot this? before opening? no signs of the crowd normally present. lovely puffy white clouds too! (pity it was almost like california weather when i was there--hot and hotter--i wanted to see the famous 'london fog' and gloom and such). in any case, certainly more dramatic photo than the others i've managed!

Comment left by: Chris (ftog at threeshoes.co.uk) Nicely composed. I like the detail and tonal ranges.
