Technical information: Mounted slide scanned and slightly cropped. Auto color balance in Photoshop. Original had significant blue cast from bay water affecting atmosphere.

Judging from the tourists, I see it is still open for visits. Last time I went there was back in 1990, after which I thought it had been closed...

BTW: In a city riddled with extremely beautiful landmarks you are most daring to select Alcatraz over ye 'ole Golden Gate; interesting choice!
