Sunset Straits

Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Ian Nichols
Title: Sunset Straits
Location: The Menai Bridge, which spans the Menai Straits between Bangor (North Wales, not Maine) and Anglesey.
Equipment: OM-2sp, 50/1.8
Film: 100 ASA Fujichrome
Exposure: Not recorded
Other Information: This was taken on a motorcycle ride around North Wales at the end of August. Having bimbled around Snowdonia and all the way to Hoyhead, I found myself here at the height of the golden hours on a clear evening, so not quite sunset. I wish I hadn't been about to run out of film. You can read about the history of this bridge here: http://www.anglesey-history.co.uk/places/bridges/.

Comment left by: siddiq (no e-mail specified) interesting to note that the nearest "tower" support has moss/lichen growing, while the others don't to nearly that degree--ideas?
