Subject:	My local shopping mall on a Sunday afternoon in late November. I still haven't quite got the hang of this technique - If you use really long exposures, the people really do disappear altogether, which was not the objective here. This was the best of the crop as far as getting some sense of motion.

The key is to get an exposure that takes about a few seconds only, otherwise indeed the people completely dissapear. A very nice effect is also obtained by using slow fast synchronisation (with the flash firing after the long exposure has taken place) such that the people are 'frozen' with the movement trails clearly visible behind them. Unfortunately AFAIK none (save perhaps the 3Ti?) of the OM cameras is capable of doing this...

Well done. I hate shopping malls - a ghastly US invention - but I am most impressed that you managed to get something artistic and interesting out of the experience.

I like the contrast between the motion sweeps caused by moving people and the three figures sitting on the bench!
