Technical information:	Shot "Hand held" from about 1/3 way up the Stanford stadium. All the "pros" shot from ground level, on the field,using mono-pods.
Subject information:	I don't know much about American Football, but got a gift of two tickets to the Stanford vs Cal game. This is the big annual game of two arch rival, local University teams. I have taken a lot of pictures of my son's soccer team in the last few years, so this was an opportunity to try my skills on a bigger game. Although I generally like the OM2S, it is not a good sports camera because of the long shutter lag, so I chose an old OM2. I did not take an MD and really did not miss it much. I was pleased with my keeper ratio and the number of shots which managed to include the ball! The Stanford Band is unique and looks as if it came out of a Monty Python sketch, so it also gave an opportunity for some other interesting photography.

Sports are always great for action shots with lots of movement! Too bad the runner's foot is behind the marker (yard marker?). Great capture!
