Technical info: Initial shots using flash were too harsh with many burned out spots. Was much happier using a long exposure with ambient light.
Subject Info: Old pocket Watch belonging to my German Great Grand father who passed away in 1901.

Comment left by: Olaf Greve (no e-mail specified) Very nice shot, and lovely soft lighting. Indeed, a flash would have totally obliterated that effect (unless very heavily diffused and used at a proper angle). A ringflash might have worked as well.
