2nd and Chestnut, Philadelphia, 5/31/00

Submitter's Name: B.B. Bean
Title: 2nd and Chestnut, Philadelphia, 5/31/00
Gear Used: OM-4t, 50/1.8, Spiratone Fisheye Adaptor, Manfrotto Monopod
Diaghram: f/5.6 or f/8
Shutter Speed: approx 1/2 second
Film Used: Provia 100F
Technical Information: I didn't have a tripod with me on vacation, so I wedged my monopod between a trash can and a newspaper machine on the corner, set the 4T on auto and compensation to 2 stops underexposed (to keep a natural looking night scene), and let'er fly.
Subject Information: Our hotel was two blocks away, and this was the nearest strip of bars and restaurants. We got to know this corner and the businesses nearby very well during our week in Philadelphia. If you're in the neighborhood, stop by Saint Jack's and tell 'em "Big Daddy" sent you.

The picture somehow reminds me of a cat's eye, because of the shape and the colours.

Comment left by: the photographer (no e-mail specified) Hey, I DID say it was near the bars, didn't I? This is what it looked like after too many beers and wearing someone else's glasses home!
