Comment left by: Olaf Greve (olaf_greve@hotmail.com) Nice picture.
I was a bit surprised to see that one could still get a 1/125th sec. exposure at f4.5 on 64 ASA film after sunset, but the lack of motion blur on the swans and water attests to that.
I like the way the electricity pole is located nicely in between the swans, and the way these swans are shown as silhouettes.

Comment left by: Wiliam Wagenaar (wiliam2@wish.net) Really nice evening shot. I love the contrast between the natural part with the swans against the human part caused by the electricity pole. Makes you realise that nature isn't allways stopped by humans.

Comment left by: Gregg Iverson (giverson@webkorner.com) This photo draws me in in and reaches me on several levels. There is tranquility in the swans on the calm water, yet the tower interferes in the naturalness. The tower is balanced centrally, yet the swan are asymetrical. Symbolic meaning? Are the swan leaving because of human encrochment, or are they peacefully coexhisting? Nice work!

Comment left by: Siddiq (siddim01@student.ucr.edu) indeed, now that you mention it, Gregg; never thought of it that way. I invite you to view Rick's new PhotoPoint gallery. Before this picture was set-up on the PhotoPoint gallery, it was sent to me by Rick who recognized my screen name "zuiky" on Napster is being "zuiko" and we started to chat (amazingly, "zuiko", "olympus", "oly", "ollie", "zuikoholic", "acer and "acerv" were taken!). If you have comments on above image, email me and I'll fwd it.

Comment left by: Paul Wallich (pw@panix.com) Gorgeous! I'm wondering how long it took to wait for that picture, or what you paid the swans.
