Great one. I like the surreal feel the colours give to this shot. Did you also take one shot without the trees in the background? I have a feeling that accentuated greyness of the photo would add to its psychological impact.

"Did you also take one shot without the trees in the background?" Excellent idea, rotating camera ccw until the wall border is parallel to the frame's border. A thin green area would still be visible.

I enjoy Walt's on-list witticisms, which he dispenses with the flair of a natural writer. This has color and grit and character and balanced composition and also tells a story with a unique, earthy raspiness to it. Walt should be working on a calendar of such images with his own comments!
