Boulevard Vlissingen (Netherlands)

Submitter's name: Wiliam Wagenaar
Title: Boulevard Vlissingen (Netherlands)
Gear used: Olympus digital E-10 on program mode and AF
Diaphragm: f5.6
Shutter speed: 1/640
Film used: Memory card!
Technical information: Just zoomed to the desired area and let the camera do the rest.
Subject information: The boulevard of Vlissingen is close to where I live and a location liked by many for a sunday walk. That is just what I was doing when I made this picture. Had the E-10 from work with me and played with it. The highrise builings you see on the picture are all built the last 15 years. Before that there was simply grass on top of the boulevard. Now it is a piece of modern architecture. The last buildings were finished this year. I like this place because the high rise buildings are combined with the beach and many large commercial ships pass here very close to the shoreline, actually only about 200 metres from he beach.

I think it's about time I went down to Vlissingen to take some pictures there too...:)

Comment left by: Jeff Keller (no e-mail specified) Very nice. The mostly cool colors match the atmosphere of the modern buildings. The side lighting is good. It would be interesting to see it close to sunset(or sunrise}.

Comment left by: Andrew Wendelborn (no e-mail specified) Simple and effective. Light and colours work well.

Comment left by: :Doro (no e-mail specified) very inspirational, so many details in the architecture combined with the beach! :D
