Submitter's name: Graham Battison
Title: Local colour
Gear used: OM2 SP Zuiko 21mm f2
Diaphragm: f8
Shutter speed: 1/60
Film used: Agfa Vista 200
Technical information: I used the 21mm to get enough 'width' to include the full run of the building then cropped the unwanted foreground.
Subject information: I was convinced it was an old cinema but as I was taking the shot a passer by informed me that it was an old bus station that once included coach manufacture on the same premises.

Comment left by: Jeff Keller (no e-mail specified) Interesting building. Looks like a very good focal length choice. The roof on the right suggests 1950?

Comment left by: Scott Gomez (no e-mail specified) Interesting building. And a quite curious sign remnant in the big red letters.

Comment left by: Chris Barker (ftog@threeshoes.co.uk) I suppose that that is a good example of kitsch - wonderfully garish, but with a subtlety about it.

Comment left by: :Doro (no e-mail specified) nice use of the 21! It certainly is an interesting piece of architecture! I would wish for a little more sky to give it a little air (I know, the distortion..;)). I like it! :D

Comment left by: Piers Hemy (no e-mail specified) and in between it was a truck depot, I think. Nice demonstration of the use of a 21mm (and a spirit level?)

Comment left by: Anonymous Visitor Jeff:I would think 50's i about right.
Doro: I kept the sky to a minimum because it was very drab but your point is not only well observed but accurate. I wish I had included more sky after reading your comment.
Piers: no spirit level :-)

Comment left by: Doro (no e-mail specified) Graham: just copy and paste ;) cheers :D
