While I can't quibble with the choice of primary subject, and an all-black colour-scheme fits in with the "Simplicity" theme, I am puzzled about the choice of background. I feel that some more exploring for alternatives could have resulted in a stronger and more effective composition. Alternatively, the background alone, or elements of it, could have made an effective composition for this theme. This combination of the two main components has an element of conflict which detracts from the total result, to my eyes. Each, alone, has more promise. My 2 cents.

Fair comment, I see your point of view. I was intrigued with the B&W of the rails and the OM 4 Gear the strong lines contrasting with the soft bag, the green and the blue/grey background behind the rails reflected in the green and blue/grey in the bag itself, the attempt was to convey this, I thought simply. Judging by the absence of comment, not well. However I like it and stand by it.
