Technical information:	Hard to capture everything from the brilliant sky through to the very flat lighting of the field, but this conveys the feel of the start of a typical bright sunny winter's day. Scanned using Nikon 4000ED with slight contrast adjustment in Photoshop.
Subject information:	Like the title says, it's just a tree. A well positioned tree for the hackneyed four seasons treatment, which in this case is the bare branches against a brilliant sky, with the tree in a muddy, barely green field. Wood End, Kempston Rural at grid ref TL001474.

When this TOPE was announced I began to think of possible compositions and this very shot was the first that came to mind. I subsequently sought for salvage yard opportunities and for one reason or another was not able to produce anything...Sighh!!! Bottom line Great Shot!

It's a very silent picture which say a lot. The romantic side makes you quit, peacefull. I get the feeling to take place under the tree and enjoy, just enjoy!
