Getting out on Boxing Day

Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: James Royall
Title: Getting out on Boxing Day
Gear used: OM2n with 35-70/3.6
Film used: Delta 400
Technical information: Film pushed one stop. Verticals straightened. Curves adjustment to give richness in the foreground I wanted, then the exterior seen through the windows burned in.
Subject information: The man in the flat cap was sheltering from the bitter wind blowing off the North Sea and watching my son and nephews playing with a Christmas present on the boating pond next to the shelter.

Comment left by: Bill Barber (nsurit@aol.com) What an interesting photograph. Nice composition and tones. A bit mysterious. The part I like best is all the repeating patterns. Very nicely done.
