Seattle Sky

Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Rob Harrison
Title: Seattle Sky
Gear used: OM-1MD, 85/2 with Moose's Vivitar 2x Macro.
Diaphragm: unrecorded, probably f8
Shutter speed: unrecorded, probably 1/250
Film used: Kodak T-Max 400, rated 320.
Technical information: I wanted to try out my new red filter for this TOPE, so shot the whole role with it! Scanned at development by Ivey Seright, levels and contrast adjusted in PS 7, a bit of sharpening (50%, 1.2 pixel, 0 layers) to increase the grain to get that Tri-X look.
Subject information: Seattle has spectacular clouds this time of year. Clouds were back lit by the setting sun. This was taken from our back yard. Anything more than fifty feet from the house just isn't photogenic...:-)

Comment left by: Chris Barker (ftog@threeshoes.co.uk) Majestic, and brave to use mono. This sort of photo is what inspires me to continue using mono.

Comment left by: Piers Hemy (no e-mail specified) Very starnge feeling looking at this, I feel like I am above the clouds. Clearly Chris is more accustomed to that feeling than am I!
