Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Wayne Harridge
Title: - no rain expected for a while -
Gear used: OM-2N, Zuiko 24mm f2.8, Manfrotto tripod
Aperture: f8
Shutter speed: Auto
Film used: Kodak EBX
Technical information: Nothing technical at all, I just rely on the OM-2N to give the correct exposure on auto. Shutter fired using self timer.
Subject information: Flat uninteresting country, power lines, we haven't had rain for a while so there was plenty of dust in the air combined with the inevitable pollution.

Comment left by: Andrew Wendelborn (no e-mail specified) Seems to summarize the state of the nation. Still more likely to get a howling dust storm than rain.

Comment left by: Piers Hemy (no e-mail specified) Delightful scene - butt I would have cropped off the edges to lose the top corners.

Comment left by: Brian Swale (no e-mail specified) A very good image of a bleak situation. When you think of what it portrays - ongoing and relentless heat, dust and thirst - this image just breathes desperation.

Comment left by: Rob Harrison (no e-mail specified) Nice shot of the back o' beyond. I love this kind of desolate landscape. I have some similarly lonely shots of South Australia near the start of the Strezleki Track--OM-1 + 35-70/3.5-4.5. Soon as I get that film scanner....
