There is enough foliage to make the blown highlights of no consequence in my opinion m'sieu. But I would have moved the subject further down the frame - or cut out more of the foreground. It's a little too balanced for me. However, I like the darkness of the subject, and its forethought as well.

Cropping it to a panarama would really tighten it. I think it makes it more powerful.

I agree that if this were cropped to panorama it really would pop. The darkness works well because of the highlights on walkers' hair.
