Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Wayne Harridge
Title: Suburban Rail Nightmare
Gear used: OM-2N, Zuiko 18mm f3.5, Manfrotto tripod
Aperture: f8
Shutter speed: Auto
Film used: Kodak EBX
Technical information: Straight shot, boosted saturation a bit from the original scan.
Subject information: While out driving one lunchtime I noticed a large compound with old carriages from the suburban rail network cut up and stacked. I took a few shots and moved on.When it came time for this TOPE I revisited the area, climbed through the fence and had a closer look. This turned out to be a fascinating site.

Punching up the colours really worked well in this shot, though it gives the grass an almost evil glow. :)

Comment left by: Chris Barker (no e-mail specified) Excellent subject, and bright, bright colours.

Comment left by: Gary Teller (no e-mail specified) Cool. I like the textures and almost expect that one would find some sort of not too friendly robo creature morphing from all the scrap. Perhaps that glowing grass is a hint?!
