Subject information: Presque Isle River, just below the final waterfalls. The foam on the water creates interesting "finger-print" patterns as it flows out to Lake Superior.

Comment left by: Olaf Greve (no e-mail specified) I was wondering what it was and at first I thought it was a close-up of a rock; I wouldn't have guessed it was water. :)

Comment left by: Scott Gomez (no e-mail specified) Wonderful abstract. I thought, "It's water. No, it's ice. No, maybe it's rock." One's eye wanders about, trying to map all the reticulation to something that makes sense.

Comment left by: Chris Barker (no e-mail specified) Nicely done, well named.

Comment left by: Andy Radcliffe (no e-mail specified) Impressive stuff ! At first glance could almost be very convoluted timber grain (like olive).

Comment left by: Duncan Paterson (no e-mail specified) Beautiful patterns. I don't think I'd have guessed what the subject was.
