Waterfall

Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Flemming Kristensen
Title: Waterfall
Gear used: OM-4Ti + 35-70/4.0 at 70mm + tripod
Diaphragm: f16
Shutter speed: 1 sec approx.
Film used: Fuji Provia
Technical information: This was a test to see if the 35-70/4.0 is sharp enough for this kind of work. I'm still not sure about that.
Subject information: The Døndalen waterfall on Bornholm is the biggest in the country, all of 20m high! At this time of year there is not much water in the stream, but in the springtime when the snow melts (if there is any snow), it can be quite impressive. Wouldn't impress a Norwegian of course.

Comment left by: Olaf Greve (no e-mail specified) Nice shot!
Regarding the 35-70/4: I think it's a fine lens. I've used it for quite some time with a lot of pleasure, and I've taken some of my "top ten" shots with it. Really the only reason that I eventually sold mine is that I obtained the superior (though a lot bulkier and heavier!) 35-80/2.8.
