Bugbath

Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Wiliam Wagenaar
Title: Bugbath
Gear used: E-1 and 7-14mm
Diaphragm: F11
Shutter speed: 1/100
Film used: none
Technical information: I used the wide-angle at the widest setting and focussed as close as possible because the bug was even closer than the closest focussing distance. The camera was as close to the ground as it could get with the battery grip attached.
Subject information: Found the bug at the rim of the pool and thought it might make for a funny picture. I think it worked out quite well. The boy in the pool is my 13 y.o. son. Photo was taken while on holiday in Gouvvia on Corfu (Kerkira), Greece.

Nicely done!

Comment left by: Bernard Frangoulis (no e-mail specified) Fabulous shot! Funny, with somehow a sense of anticipation, what is this great world out there waiting for me...;-)
The 7-14mm does seem soft on the edges, or is it diffraction at f11?
