Subject information: As we go through some of the driest seasons on record, I'd pretty much given up an anything remotely resembling rain in the shooting period. But driving down a creek bed looking for a suitable vantage point to photograph some white cockatoos, the sun vanished, and I could see clouds coming in rapidly. Sure enough, there was a fast and furious rainstorm for a few minutes, then no more ....
