Cedro Azul (after the rain)

Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Fernando Gonzalez Gentile
Title: Cedro Azul (after the rain)
Gear used: Olympus OM-2n, shoe mounted T-32 on manual mode.
Zuiko 200/4 @ f11 mounted on 2X-A converted.
Tripod, winder 2 with cable release, bean bag.
Exposure: 1/4 sec., IIRC.
Film: Fuji Velvia 50, scanned with Nikon SuperCoolscan 4000ED increasing 'Halo Width' (could someone tell me what does this mean?)
Comments: I'm very proud of this tree which grows in front of my house.
Not too much of a technical challenge, but concentrated mainly in getting a good composition and color combination.

Comment left by: Olaf Greve (no e-mail specified) Very nice colours and composition, indeed!

Comment left by: Chuck Norcutt (chucknorcutt@chucknorcutt.com) Very nice shot. Interesting use of the flash. I'd probably not have thought to use one here.

Comment left by: myself (no e-mail specified) Once upon a time I met a guy whose name was Chuck. He owned the so called 'fang T-32', and sent it to my sister while she was visiting the Massachusetts General.

Comment left by: Mike lazzari (no e-mail specified) I especially like the background color and bokeh.
