Falling Water (with apologies to FLW)

Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Ian Nichols
Title: Falling Water (with apologies to FLW)
Gear used: E-300, ZD 40-140 F/3.5-4.5
Diaphragm: f/4.5
Shutter speed: 1/160
Sensitivity: ISO 400
Technical information: I pointed & shot. Biggest aperture to keep the background out of focus, 1/160 s to keep the motion blur down to subject movement rather than obvious camera shake.
Subject information: Not strictly rainfall, but I hope it will be allowed anyway. These are water drops falling from around the edge of a waterfall. It had rained recently, and the water shown here would have seeped through the land around the waterfall rather than flowing down the river. Even so, it all falls out of the sky anyway, doesn't it?
