Comments made by the photographer

Submitter's name: Brian Swale.
Title: Fish 'n chips.
Gear used: OM-4Ti + 50/3.5 macro.
Diaphragm: f/11 probably.
Shutter speed: 1/250 or close to that.
Film used: Fuji Superia Reala 100 asa.
Technical information: Hand-held in shade on a sunny day. The subject was consumed with gusto immediately after the one photograph was made. No evidence remains.
Subject information: Fresh marine fish, sometimes battered, along with firm sliced potato chips, all deep-fried in fresh vegetable oil, drained, and wrapped in clean new newsprint paper, is what "Fish and chips" are all about here.
An inexpensive, filling, and tasty take-away meal. Usually but not necessarily sprinkled with salt; as you can see in this case. I usually specify none, but forgot this time !
Photograph taken on a roadside park table under a tree, while taking a break from driving on a long trip, with a persistent easterly wind threatening to upset the lot onto the grass.
